| First Aid for semi-remote and exposed UK outdoor environments. Includes Emergency Action (A-E), Basic Life Support, Outdoor First Aid and Casualty Care. Specialist 16hr course for NGB qualifications. Suitable for outdoor instructors with or without previous experience. | ||

| The core training (day 1) of First Care © plus includes assessing & treating a casualty who is unconscious, stopped breathing or bleeding. This includes basic skills needed in an outdoor environment to ‘hold the fort’ until Paramedic help arrives (½ hr). The advanced casualty care skills (day 2) include stabilising a casualty in exposed environments until a Rescue Team arrive (1 – 2 hrs). It also covers emergency kit, managing incidents and specific outdoor scenarios. | ||
